The bells are jingling and the yuletide is gay! It’s that special time of year for gathering with friends and sharing some cheer. Let’s have a party! NAWBO Sedona Verde-Valley has a very special event planned for members and corporate partners only. Join us Thursday, December 8th from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the Serenitie Restaurant and Burger Bar for our Holiday Party of Gratitude and Giving.
Our special luncheon prepared by Chef Chris will include Pan Roasted Swordfish, forbidden black rice, mango butter with House Salad or the vegan option.
This event is centered around gratitude and giving. You’ll hear the inspiring stories of “Canned Sedona” and “Angie’s House”; two powerful organizations making a real difference in our community. These stories will be presented by their founders (who are members of own NAWBO Chapter); Tracey Shadley-Young with her co-founder Heidi Benson and Angela Lozano. All will inspire us with their words of gratitude and hope.
Now for the gifting; it wouldn’t be a party without presents. Each member is asked to bring a gift valued at $20 or less for our “Girl’s Gift and Grab”. We will have a great game sharing the spirit. Who knows what surprise you’ll go home with this year. We will also begin collecting travel toiletries at each meeting to donate to Angie’s House and the Shelter. Please bring items to the event for collection.
RSVP for only $10. The chapter is covering 50% of the meal as a gift to you for your commitment and support of our NAWBO-SVV. Pre-registration is encouraged. Price is $20 at the door. No guests will be allowed at this event. Do you know someone who would like to come? Refer them to nawbosvv.org and tell them to click on the “JOIN NOW” button. Now is the best time to join NAWBO. Pre-registration closes at 5:00pm – December 5th.
